Eight seats, one long table, a set menu, and a host who makes the introductions and keeps the conversation moving. Come alone or bring one friend.
See upcoming eveningsEach evening has one menu and one host. Seats are confirmed by email.
It is closer to a dinner at a friend’s home than a restaurant booking.
Choose a date and tell us about allergies or anything you do not eat.
You get an email with the address and the names of the cook and the host two days before.
The host seats you, introduces the table, and the first course is out by half past.
A room of strangers needs someone to start the first conversation. Our hosts introduce people properly, pace the courses with the kitchen, and make sure nobody at the table is left out. Most guests come alone the first time and bring someone the second.
Yes. About half of every table arrives alone, and the seating plan is made with that in mind.
Tell us when you reserve. Menus are set, but the kitchen prepares alternatives for allergies, vegetarian and pescatarian guests.
Let us know at least 48 hours ahead and your seat goes to the waiting list at no charge.
For groups of six to eight we can hold a whole evening. Write to us with a few possible dates.
One email when a new month of evenings opens. Nothing else.
